This is a Classic 1974 Raleigh Twenty NON FOLDING that was ‘NEW OLD STOCK’ until we unboxed it a few months ago for display.  The tires, tubes, air pump, brooks saddle, and brake pads are all ORIGINAL.  

The Raleigh Twenty was designed to compete with the Dawes Kingpin and Moulton Bikes that had 20 inch wheels, hence the name Twenty.  The majority of these were folding bikes but this one is exceptionally rare because it’s a non-folding version.  This is a true collector’s item for Raleigh enthusiasts or British enthusiasts.  This was the ultimate city bike and was also known as the Raleigh Shopper.   They were also sold and rebadged by Triumph, BSA, Sun and Hercules. 

Production ended in the early 1980s.
